EU Steel Tariffs and Import Quotas: ITRE Committee Issues Opinion – Stainless Espresso

3 December 2025 – The industry-policy ITRE Committee in the European Parliament issues its opinion on the draft report and the proposed amendments to the regulation “Addressing the negative trade-related effects of global overcapacity on the Union steel market” (2025/0726(COD)). Among other things, ITRE calls for a faster review of the measure and significantly greater consideration of small and medium-sized enterprises. Source
