2 June 2026 – Asian base metals posted gains on Tuesday, and they also started trading on the LME on a friendly note. On 1 June, U.S. President Donald Trump once again modified the Section 232 tariffs. The proclamation “Further Adjusting the Tariff Regimes for Imports of Aluminum, Steel, and Copper into the United States” brings a few targeted adjustments – but also new tariffs. Source
